In this rooms, your child will master independent skills, toilet training, and be introduced to school readiness skills. All of this with a focus on social and emotional development all the while fostering curiosity to explore and investigate.

The teal room offers:
*Safe and fun learning environment

• Open ended free play opportunities
• Teacher lead large and small group activities
• Program planning based on the children’s (individual and common) interests An introduction to school readiness skills through both play and focused small group activities:
*Social and emotional development support using “Handle with Care”, “Circle of Security” and “Incredible Flexible You” : confidence, problem solving, empathy, resiliency etc.
*Encouraging independent skills: toilet training, zipping, buttoning, dressing, feeding etc.
*Pre-literacy skills: intro to letter recognition, phonics, sequencing, rhyming, repeating etc.
*Pre-writing: drawing shapes, drawing with purpose, intro to letter formation, strengthen pincer grip, etc.
*Basic math: number recognition, counting, predicting, hypothisizing, puzzles
*Programs: Music with Stephanie, Yoga
We offer a more structure routine with free place and focused activities:
* 7:30-9:30 – Arrival and Free Play
*9:00-9:30 – Snack time
*10:00-12:00 – Activities/Outings
*12:00-12:45 – Lunch time
* 1:00-3:00 – Quiet/Nap Time
*3:00-3:30 – Snack
*3:30-5:30 – Activities, Backyard, Pick-up
