Allegro is licensed to provide care for 139 children from 3 months to 8 years of age, with programs focused primarily on infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Each learning environment is thoughtfully designed to support children’s development, well-being, and sense of belonging.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach® we view the environment as the “third teacher”—an active partner in learning. Warm, welcoming, and rich with possibility, our spaces invite children to explore, create, connect, and express themselves.
Through natural materials, open-ended resources, and environments that evolve alongside children’s interests, we create spaces where every child feels capable, valued, and inspired to learn.

The Third Place
After a trip to Italy in 2023 by the leadership team, the Third Place came to life at Allegro. Wanting to support more of a community this atelier has been created for Allegro children, staff and families. This is a place of wonder and exploration in addition to their daily learning environments. Every week children of all rooms have been given time to be curious and explore here. Staff use the room to learn and unwind. Families can also use this space to hold meetings or grab a coffee together-a stimulating, safe place for all.

“For me, the third place has always been a feeling. An emotion. An aspiration that all people can come together and be uplifted as a result of a sense of belonging. This is the cornerstone of our business, yes, but “belonging” is also a basic human right, which should be afforded all members of a society.” ~ Harold Schultz
Our Backyard
We are fortunate to have a beautiful fenced in backyard that is fully licensed as an extension to our learning environments. Outdoor play is an integral component of the our curriculum; you will find us outside eploring in all weather as long as it is safe to do so.
