We are here for you and your family

Allegro is a family-centred child care centre where relationships form the foundation of everything we do. We value parents and caregivers as the first and most important teachers of their children and strive to create strong, respectful partnerships that honour each family’s culture, identity, and voice.

Our work is guided by these core commitments:

  • Partnerships with families – supporting and celebrating the role of parents and caregivers.
  • Inclusive environments – where every child feels a sense of belonging and respect.
  • Professional excellence – with over 80% of our staff accredited as Early Childhood Educators, bringing knowledge, stability, and care to our community.
  • Inspiration and challenge – fostering curiosity, creativity, and resilience through safe and engaging learning environments.
  • Community connections – building meaningful relationships that extend beyond our walls and strengthen the well-being of children, families, and the wider community.

Who We Serve

Allegro is licensed to provide care for 139 children, from 3 months to 8 years of age. At this time, our program’s focus is on infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Each learning environment is designed to nurture relationships, inspire exploration, and support the developmental needs of young children.

“There are no perfect parents and there are no perfect children, but there are perfect moments along the way.” – Dave Willis

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We honour this territory as it is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”. We are all Treaty people. We are committed to walk the path of reconciliation and recognize that every person has a basic right to human dignity, respect and equal access to resources.
