What You Can Expect During Placement
During your time with us, you will have opportunities to:
- observe and participate in daily routines and care
- support children’s play and learning experiences
- learn how we plan through progettazione
- practice/observe professional communication with children, families, and staff
- explore documentation as a tool for learning and reflection
- engage in reflective conversations with your mentor educator and leadership
Your Role as a Student
As a student at Allegro, you are expected to:
- show professionalism, punctuality, and readiness to learn
- maintain confidentiality at all times
- follow all health and safety procedures
- ask questions often (we love questions!)
- reflect, document, and seek feedback
- contribute to a positive, respectful learning environment
If you are unsure about anything, we want you to ask. No question is too small.
We know placements can feel exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. We want you to know you are entering a team that deeply values learning, relationships, and care.
